Well made and assembly was easy. The only drawback I see was the included instructions did not show anything on how to secure the unit to the truck. I mistakenly assumed it would latch to the truck like some competitive units but it does not. It is held in place with straps, which should be ok, just not what I was expecting. My fault for not being thorough during evaluation.
This is actually very, very possible. Check back later this year....
Simple to put together it took me about 30 minutes using a power drill. Very strong and well built. I got the black ramp and it looks very sharp. I would definitely recommended it.
I would gladly pay an extra couple bucks shipping to not have to assemble this ramp. Broke three torx bits by the time I was done. Pain in a butt, and including a hand torx wrench is laughable. That would take all day! Great ramp though.
Gerry, the next batch of ReadyRamps will all have tapped rungs. And by the way, they've never been less expensive. The fully-built units take up a lot of space, and the boxes tend to get crunched up in transit, which means they'd come back to us and we'd have to ship another full-sized box out. Expensive. Thanks for trusting our product, and we hope you get many years of use out of your new ReadyRamp.
